Millicent's TEN puppies arrive last night!!

In the most decent hours of of the evening, Millicent gave birth to 10 puppies (8 chocolates and 2 creams)
I love births like these, uneventful and relatively fast (6 hours) and everyone gets a good night's sleep!

These robust little guys came out with so much energy and desire to nurse. But once nursing they settled down and became very quiet.

I can just picture them in the playroom in about 6-7 weeks from now, I have a feeling they are going to be little firecrackers! Ten wild puppies tearing across the room, through tunnels and around tents, grabbing anything they can get their little teeth on!  Oh, what fun!!
For now I will savor the solitude surrounding them while they sleep...
